Worrell, Durrett, Jaynes & Gavrell, P.C. was founded in 1991 to provide complex litigation services to the growing population of Colorado's Western Slope. It has operated in the same location since its founding.

The original founders of the firm combined many years of legal experience from many different geographic locations. Together the founding partners created the firm to provide complex litigation and contingency fee services to the Western Slope. When David Griffith retired from active practice in 2006, the firm became Worrell, Durrett & Jaynes, P.C. The firm assumed its current name when Robert Gavrell joined as a shareholder in 2011.

Worrell, Durrett, Jaynes & Gavrell, P.C. has handled significant cases throughout the State of Colorado, Texas, California and other states, as well as in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oklahoma, and the Tenth Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. The firm has developed the requisite experience, skills and insight necessary to handle the demands of complex litigation, as one can see from the firm's representative cases.

Members of the firm enjoy being able to handle litigation matters throughout the state and the country, while still maintaining their Western Colorado lifestyle and participating in the community of Glenwood Springs.
